Analyis of the race

A strongly run handicap chase thanks to Kandjar D'Allier who ran a cracker under top weight.

ONE SNIFF was always travelling strongly under a patient ride and, having crept into contention after the fourth last, he was always going much the better. Once shaken up he went right away in the closing stages and he's benefited hugely from his return at Market Rasen last month and he won this like a horse with a good bit in hand of the assessor.

College Ace travelled well for a long way on his first start for a new yard before weakening. Ice Bucket also droppedout having been bang in contention and this was a backward step for him.
