Chaninbar held up behind leaders, went 2nd after 5th, led 8th, in command from 3 out, comfortably
Farmer´s Lad tracked leaders, with winner 8th, ridden approaching 3 out, kept on same pace
Zorro De La Vega held up behind leaders, went close 3rd approaching 4 out, effort approaching 3 out, one pace when hit 2 out
Kirbys Glen led, not fluent 7th, slow and headed next, weakened after 4 out
Adopted Hero held up behind leaders, jumped slowly and reminders after 5th, lost touch from 8th, broke blood vessel
This novice chase saw the hitherto disappointing
CHANINBAR register his first jumping success in comfortable style. The ground obviously suited him well as he was never going to be beaten in the home straight and it remains to be seen if he can follow up, having previously promised much and not delivered a lot.
Zorro De La Vega seems to have his own mind again about the game and is not really one to have implicit trust in.
Kirbys Glen, as usual, set the pace before dropping away, while Adopted Hero was never going from an early stage. He has handled this ground, so that was not an excuse.
