Earth Planet held up in rear, steady headway to track leaders approaching 2 out, challenged last, ridden to lead soon after, ran on strongly near finish

Knock On The Head chased leaders, challenged 3 out, led 2 out, ridden and headed approaching last, weakened run-in
Royals Darling chased leaders, ridden 2 out, stayed on for 4th run-in but no chance with leading trio
Overstrand in touch 4th, headway 3 out, pressed leaders 2 out, soon ridden, stayed on same pace last
My Turn Now led to 5th, stayed pressing leader until approaching 2 out, weakened soon after
Irish Legend soon in touch, chased leaders from 3 out, weakened from 2 out
Gabier chased leaders until ridden and weakened approaching 2 out
Rapid Increase jumped slowly 4th and mistake 2 out, always in rear
Trouble At Bay chased leaders until ridden and weakened 3 out
Bremen chased leaders, ridden 3 out, soon beaten
Silverhay chased leaders until jumped slowly 3 out and soon weakened
Amour Multiple chased leaders until weakened after 4 out, tailed off
Nacarat with leader, led 5th, headed and mistake 2 out, soon weakened, pulled up before last
Newton Bridge raced here 15lb higher than his last Irish handicap mark and was unlucky to bump into a horse on a definite upward curve as he would have won by a long way if that were not the case. He has been sent chasing in the past and would be of interest back over fences as he is currently languishing on 103 and ran here off 120.
Royals Darling was switched to hurdles after making mistakes on his last try over fences but got competitive here turning in but was readily brushed aside.
Overstrand has never really recovered the form he showed two years ago.
My Turn Now has been lightly raced this term as if he is not the easiest to train these days.
