The winner had shown something like this was within his compass when runner-up on his debut and put that experience to good use.
As the front three came away from the rest, the form is probably decent enough in the context of this contest.
Santia had disappointed when favourite on her debut but showed that running to be all wrong. She is the type to come on again, and something like a mares' only race in this sphere would be hers for the taking.
Kateal had every chance in the straight and less of atest of stamina could help her.
