Amazing Valour headway to lead approaching 3rd, headed 10th, led 14th, ridden approaching last, driven out
Potts Of Magic held up in rear, headway on inside 16th, ridden and stayed on one pace flat
Nacadour held up in mid-division, ridden and headway 16th, every chance 4 out, switched left approaching 2 out, no extra flat
Mister Apple´s prominent, lost place 7th, headway after 17th, every chance 4 out, weakened 2 out
Even More led until approaching 3rd, chased leader, not fluent 7th, led 10th to 14th, ridden and weakened approaching 4 out
Zimbabwe behind, blundered 2nd, headway 14th, ridden approaching 16th, weakened 17th
Henry´s Pride held up in touch, weakened approaching 17th, tailed off when pulled up before 4 out
Yann´s held up, headway approaching 7th, weakened approaching 17th, tailed off when pulled up before 4 out
Special Conquest prominent until ridden and weakened approaching 4 out, behind when pulled up before 3 out
Ironside not fluent and never going well, behind from 6th, tailed off when pulled up after 13th
AMAZING VALOUR was a pound out of the handicap but made his light weight tell as he saw off all challengers from some way out.
Obviously, staying is not a problem, but this faster ground really suits him as he is not as effective when there is cut.
Connections are considering a 0-115 handicap chase over a similar distance to this at Perth next week, as long as the ground is suitable.
Nacadour, with a tongue tie added to the usual blinkers, had his chance in the straight but could muster no extra from the last. However, this surface is not a problem.
Mister Apple's, having his first try since last November, goes well fresh, so probably ran his race.
Even More is now on a handicap high at the age of 13.
