Second went to Mr Midaz, who went wide down the far side, and the straight, but though he kept on, he couldn't get to the winner. He's another well handicapped sort as he's 15lb lower than his last win, which was back in early 2006, and he may well be able to take advantage.
One who is much better than the bare form is Royal Flynn, who was upsides, but being niggled, when he made a mistake and sprawled on landing over the second-last, lost all chance and failed to recover the lost ground.
Oleolat never landed a blow but wasn't disgraced, and Monsieur was very keen in front.
