Utmost Respect tracked leaders, smooth headway on outer to lead over 1f out, shaken up inside final furlong, comfortably
Big Timer tracked leaders, effort and not clear run well over 1f out, switched right and ridden entering final furlong, soon chasing winner, driven and no impression towards finish
Ebraam held up, switched left and headway well over 1f out, soon ridden and kept on inside final furlong
Hinton Admiral dwelt, soon close up, ridden along 2f out and gradually weakened
Wi Dud led, ridden along 2f out, driven, edged left and headed over 1f out, soon weakened
Celtic Mill close up, ridden along over 2f out and soon weakened
Big Timer, who had been running with credit in Dubai, ran on to take second. Although he hasn't won since his two-year-old days, and showed little in a light campaign last term, this was like some of his Dubai form. It was more encouraging and a seventh furlong might suit him better.
Hinton Admiral had a stiff task with his 7lb penalty and faded, Wi Dud was disappointing and Celtic Mill, who needs better ground, was hampered when beaten and trailed in tailed off.
