FLAME CREEK was a game winner - another to put race fitness to good use - looking to improve again over this staying trip after his all-weather win upped to it. This veteran enjoyed being let loose with his featherweight after humping bigger weights and remains in great form for a 12-year-old.
Winged D'Argent was conceding race fitness to those around him so deserves plenty of credit for his battling effort, and a muddling pace did not play to his strengths. He has eased back to a winnable mark on this display, but has struggled when into the 80s.
Inchloch was making a big step into the unknown after 1m2f efforts and acquitted himself well enough as a potential stayer in the making. He finished clear of the rest and can be placed to advantage.
Fascinatin Rhythm ran too keenly at the back to do himself justice, while Mickmacmagoole, whose form has tailed-off over hurdles, was not sure to be suited by underfoot conditions and was reported to have moved poorly throughout. (BJ)
