Musical Bar made all, pushed along 2f out, in command throughout final furlong
Bramaputra slowly into stride, soon in touch, pushed along 3f out, chased winner inside final 2f, stayed on inside final furlong but always readily held
Rio Guru chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, stayed on to go 3rd final furlong but always held by leading duo
Badweia in touch, pushed along and some headway over 2f out, soon one pace
Sir Kyffin´s Folly in rear, soon pushed along, stayed on under pressure final 2f but never in contention
Profitability in touch, shaken up halfway, never dangerous after
Travelling Light in rear, pushed along and some headway halfway, never in contention
Priti Fabulous always towards rear
Dhahab chased leaders, hard ridden over 2f out, soon edged right and weakened
Krasavitsa chased leaders to halfway
True And Fair chased leaders over 3f
Bramaputra, a scopey filly, ran a cracker, as she was slowly away and green on the outside of the field midtrack. The half-sister to 2,000 Guineas runner-up Vital Equine looks to have a bright future.
Rio Guru showed good all-round speed and finished nicely clear of the pack without having the speed to match the front two into the final furlong.
Badweia could not convert strong market confidence. She travelled on the stands' side wing of the pack with the action building the other side, and failed to find much for pressure in the final two furlongs. She could turn out to be more of a sprinting type on better ground.
Profitability ran better than the bare form, as she got tired in the ground going into the finalfurlong and was eased in the last 100 yards. She can improve on the bare form on better ground.
Travelling Light hinted at better to come on better ground. [BJ]
