PERLACHY, whose one poor run came when he had his head over an adjoining stall when they opened two runs ago, added a second win in four months in cosy style. He raced close to the pace, and with Tyrannosaurus Rex running wide off the home bend taking three with him, Perlachy stole to the front and hung on well.
Stamford Street squeezed between rivals into the final furlong to momentarily look a danger, which was some effort on the back of a two-year absence. If beating the bounce factor, he should win a similar contest.
Buzbury Rings was forced wide and took time to get organised again before plodding on without threatening to trouble the principals.
