Cobo Bay made all, driven and stayed on strongly final 2f, clear approaching final furlong, unchallenged
Albaqaa took keen hold, headway and pulled outside over 2f out, went 2nd and hung right over 1f out, no impression
Ivestar soon chasing leaders, driven 4f out, one pace final 2f
Robby Bobby tracked leaders, effort over 2f out, weakened approaching final furlong
Upton Grey held up, headway to track leaders over 6f out, went 2nd over 3f out, weakened 2f out, eased inside final furlong
Runswick Bay soon pushed along and detached in rear, tailed off when pulled up after 2f, lame behind
Albaqaa, who was dropped-in behind the leaders, took a bit of settling. He came out of the pack to go in pursuit of the winner approaching the last, but, although drawing well clear of the rest, he could not reel in the winner.
Ivestar was comfortably held in third.
Upton Grey dropped right away to finish well adrift.
