Wait For The Will held up in touch, went 2nd 3f out, led on bit 2f out, ridden towards finish, just held on
Truly Fruitful always prominent, switched right and chased winner well over 1f out, ridden to challenge inside final furlong, just failed
Granary Girl held up in touch, weakened over 1f out
Fiddlers Creek led, ridden and headed 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Kofi held up and behind, ridden 3f out, never near leaders
Skyler held up towards rear, ridden over 2f out, never dangerous
Shenandoah Girl held up in mid-division, weakened 2f out
Paperboy pushed along 7f out, always in rear
Countrywide Luck chased leader to 3f out, weakened 2f out
Truly Fruitful, who had shown improved form when stepped back up to this distance at Musselburgh last week, running second in a 13-runner seller, ran to a similar level here and this seems to be his trip these days.
Recent Southwell claiming race winner Shenandoah Girl also had to find a fair bit more to be fully competitive, and did not help her chances by racing rather freely on the outside.
