Tamasou chased leading pair, ridden along over 2f out, soon driven and kept on same pace
Ride A White Swan dwelt, took keen hold, soon in touch, posuehd along 3f out, ridden 2f out and kept on same pace
Veronicas Way led, ridden along 3f out, headed well over 1f out, soon driven and gradually weakened
Boss Hog towards rear, ridden along on inner 3f out, no real headway
Caltire slowly into stride, always in rear

Rossin's Dancer, drawn widest of all, was nearerlast than first for the first half of the race. Pushed along three furlongs out, he picked-up ground inside the final quarter-mile and ran on nicely late on to claim second. He should win a race.
Tamasou showed up well on his return to turf.
Ride A White Swan, who was making his handicap bow, raced keenly under restraint in thefirst half of the race.
