William Blake led after 1f, quickened over 5f out, clear over 1f out, stayed on strongly
Dubai Petal held up towards rear, effort and not clear run over 2f out, stayed on final furlong, took 2nd near finish
Flying Time held up in rear, effort 4f out, stayed on to go 2nd inside final furlong, no extra
Tiger´s Rocket reluctant leader for 1f; took keen hold, tracked winner, one pace final 2f
Thunderstruck tracked leaders, effort over 3f out, weakened over 1f out
Welcome Return chased leaders, pushed along over 5f out, lost place over 2f out, soon behind
Dubai Petal, stepped-up in trip, hardly had her stamina severely tested, given the way the race wasrun. She was never any danger to the winner, but shaped creditably to marginally win the race for second-best.Tiger's Cross, lacking nothing in fitness, was comfortably held.
Thunderstruck finished adrift of the principals on his first start of the year, while Welcome Return, off the bridle leaving the back straight, soon dropped away.
