Luscivious chased leaders, led just inside final furlong, stayed on well
Malapropism with leader, led over 2f out until just inside final furlong, no extra
Come Out Fighting dwelt and slightly hampered start, soon driven along, headway to chase leaders over 3f out, kept on final furlong
Glasshoughton hampered start, chased leaders, weakened approaching final furlong
Fire Up The Band hampered start, mid-division, kept on final 2f, never near leaders
Wyatt Earp in rear, kept on final furlong, never on terms
Melalchrist stumbled and went left start, led until over 2f out, weakened 1f out
Tabaret always in rear
Caribbean Coral soon in rear
Inter Vision held up, always in rear
Old Malapropism showed plenty of dash and could hardly have shaped more encouragingly on his seasonal bow, especially as he's a horse who normally doesn't come to himself until a little later in the season.
Come Out Fighting, fit from the all-weather, ran a creditable race back on turf, while Glasshoughton, although comfortably beaten by the first three, shaped nicely on his seasonal bow.
Wyatt Earp began to find his stride inside the last two furlongs, but he was briefly held-up in his run and although staying on late, he was never nearer than at the line.
Carrribean Coral, who ran so well in defeat at Musselburgh, was never really going here. This ground might not have been to his liking.
