Andaman Sunset in touch, headway to chase leaders over 2f out, soon ridden and no impression
King´s Alchemist towards rear, some headway on inner over 2f out, soon no impression
Lady Florence chased leaders, ridden along over 3f out, soon outpaced
Staten always towards rear
Modernist slowly into stride, always in rear
Azeer soon led, ridden along and headed 3f out, soon weakened
Jordi Roper went right start, in rear until some headway 3f out, soon ridden and weakened
BORN TOBOUGGIE, a half-sister to winning milers, raced a bit freely on the outside and then ran green under pressure though the last2f. But she showed a good attitude to get back up after being headed and can only improve for the experience.
Fosool, who cost 230,000gns as a yearling and is out of a mare who was placed in the Irish Oaks, just found herself outbattled on this occasion but ran well enough to suggest she should not be difficult to place.
Master Spy, sixth on his debut in an all-weather maiden last November, ran well enough under a positive ride, but Andaman Sunset was made to look very slow and, as he had run second on soft ground at Newbury last season, the going cannot be offered as an excuse.
