Hereford Boy steadied start, held up in rear, progress 2f out, hard ridden to lead inside final furlong, headed last strides

Corridor Creeper led 1f, pressed leader, ridden and still chance just over 1f out, hanging left and not quicken
Ocean Blaze pulled hard, led after 1f to 2f out, faded final furlong
Silver Prelude prominent, well on terms 2f out, pushed along over 1f out, steadily weakened
Garstang steadied start, held up in rear, ridden and no progress 2f out, soon weakened
Nordic Light struggling in rear from halfway, soon behind
AFTER THE SHOW got outpaced early but was back travelling well past halfway before mowing them down late despite edging left away from the whip. He was completing a hat-trick after more than two years knocking at the door. He looked magnificent for this, but the downside is another albeit-small rise and nothing for him on the turf in the next week - his all-weather form suggests he does not enjoy that surface.
Hereford Boy had conditions in his favour and made a bold bid, looking the likely winner into the final furlong when reeling in Tartatartufata. His good all-weather form suggested he was not well treated for thisreturn to turf but he is clearly progressing. The downside is that he appears best with cut in the ground.
The old boy Corridor Creeper will have blown the cobwebs away with this run, showing he remains on good terms with himself, demonstrating good early pace and plugging on.
Silver Prelude blazed away on unfavourable ground so can be forgiven weakening out of it before the final furlong.
