Look So unseated rider and bolted to post, held up in last, reminder halfway, progress on wide outside 2f out, driven and stayed on well to lead near finish
Trans Siberian took keen hold, prominent, chased leader 2f out, driven to challenge final furlong, just held
Highland Harvest tracked leader, took keen hold and led well over 3f out, taken to near side rail over 2f out, driven over 1f out, headed near finish
Full Victory held up towards rear, steady progress on outer 3f out, going strongly over 2f out, ridden to challenge over 1f out, one pace
Rudry Dragon chased leaders, pushed along from halfway, kept on under pressure final 2f but never pace to challenge
Red Somerset held up in rear, progress on outer over 2f out, chased leaders over 1f out, one pace after
Gazboolou tracked leaders, close enough 2f out, faded over 1f out
Alfresco held up in last, some progress over 2f out, shaken up 1f out, kept on but never near leaders
Wester Ross tracked leaders until weakened over 2f out
Zafonical Storm led to 3f out, weakened well over 1f out
Twilight Star took keen hold, tracked leading pair to halfway, weakened over 2f out, tailed off
Novikov slowly into stride, soon midfield, weakened over 2f out, eased over 1f out, tailed off
LOOK SO is one to have reservations about despite this win, as she dropped her rider going to post and was given a reminder 4f out when seemingly struggling at the back of the pack. She was still struggling 2f out but coming widest midtrack she battled on to nick the prize.\NTrainer Ralph Beckett said: "I have trained three out of the mare, and they have all been best fresh. She drops everyone at home when fresh and catches everybody out even after warning them. She went off the boil last year so we will try and run her fresh this year."
Trans Siberian continued the good run of histrainer and lost nothing in defeat on this seasonal return. He should make amends as better ground will not go amiss.
Highland Harvest was his usual enthusiastic self, and was alone in sticking to the inside rail of the principals, virtually racing alone but was only picked up on the line. He goes well here and enjoys a sounder surface, suggesting that this frontrunner will pay his way here this summer.
Rudry Dragon has shown his best on a sounder surface but ran a strong race, staying on without threatening to reach the principals.
Red Somerset showed more than on his seasonal return, but remains plenty high enough in the handicap.
Alfresco never threatened to land a blow, and hung left across the track to hamper his rider's efforts.
Wester Ross saw little daylight on the stands' side but was struggling for pace on the drop back in trip. There should be better to come.
