Analyis of the race
The Jailer set pretty good fractions despite getting an easy lead but she succumbed to the stronger finish of IS IT TIME who stalked throughout before picking up in good style.
The winner was racing from 3lb out of the handicap and she isn’t the most consistent, which doesn’t do much for the form, but she is perfectly capable when things drop her way and that was the case here.
Expensive Art was given a patient ride by Jamie Spencer, who sat some five or six lengths off the pace. She began to make her move after the two pole but although she stayed on strongly, she never really looked like getting there.
There was a big gap back to the other two. Diminuto, who had fared little better than at Bath 24 hours earlier, and Linda Green, who didn’t run her race.
