Lord Nellerie made all and soon clear, mistake 10th, drew right away from 3 out, unchallenged
Howard Howard tracked leaders, hampered 4th, not fluent 8th, mostly chased winner from 11th, driven and no chance after 3 out
Bell Rock left chasing leader 4th, not fluent 11th and lost 2nd, stayed in touch until weakened from 3 out
Mr Postman mistake 1st, always toiling in last, tailed off from 9th, over a fence behind when scrambled over last
Keltic Lord in touch until left behind from 10th, tailed off 13th, pulled up before 2 out
Shareef badly hampered 4th, in touch to 9th, soon struggling, tailed off in 5th when unseated rider 14th
Star Double chased winner until fell heavily 4th
. Racing here for only the second time since that May 2006 success, the 115-rated nine-year-old showed the benefit of a novice hurdle pipe-opener to make all. He could hardly have won with more authority and will now have serious claims in one of the many hot hunter chases that come up in the next few weeks.
