Arturo Uno tracked leaders, effort when not much room and switched left over 1f out, driven and stayed on to wear down leader close home
Alaminos took keen hold, midfield, effort 4f out, ridden to lead over 1f out, ran on, caught near finish
Quannapowitt held up, effort to track leaders over 3f out, challenged and ran green final furlong, stayed on, promising
Prince Des Marais took keen hold and close up, ridden 2f out, not much room over 1f out, switched left, kept on steadily
Dont Tell Baby close up, led briefly well over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Sun God with leader, led halfway until ridden and headed well over 1f out, weakened
Atherstone Hill behind, pushed along after 3f, ran green but slight late progress
Madame Jete kept hanging left in rear, never on terms
The Little Chancer effort to track leaders halfway, moderate 6th and fading over 2f out
Lunar Rock close up until weakened over 3f out
So Extreme behind, hanging left and ridden 7f out, struggling after
Astrop Road took keen hold, slight lead until halfway, faded over 3f out

Overtly Blue prominent, ridden halfway, soon hanging left, lost place very tamely, tailed off and virtually pulled up 3f out
ARTURO UNO, fourth on his debut at Newbury last month, made his experience pay as he kept on strongly for pressure to see off newcomer Alaminos, who looked all over the winner when driven into the lead approaching the furlong mark.But Alaminos could find nothing extra when Arturo Uno got to him 100 yards out, though it is easy to see him winning a similar event before long.
There was market support for another newcomer Kings Rhythm, but this one never really looked like getting in a blow.
