Log On Intersky cocked jaw and ran out 1st

Furze Hill prominent, 3rd and still going well when blundered and unseated rider 11th

Lockstone Lad prominent until hit 2nd and unseated rider

Moonlight Music hampered 2nd, ridden 5th, last when blundered 6th, tried to refuse and unseated rider next

Ice Cream barely raised a gallop, tailed off and pulled up 5th

Judy The Drinker took keen hold early, left last 7th, tailed off and pulled up 11th

Jacarado lost place 8th, weakening when jumped very slowly 10th, pulled up next

Analyis of the race

This did not take a lot of winning. ARMOURY HOUSE and Roaringwater were the only runners to have won a race since 2006, and it was Armoury House, making light of a five-month absence, who came through to win with a bit to spare. He had idled in frontwhen scoring at Fontwell last September and was again not doing a lot in front on the run-in here, but he always looked like holding on and, though he may not be the most straightforward of horses, he does have the scope for further improvement.

Baron Blitzkrieg, a hold-up horse who has gone close on a number of occasions since winning at Hereford over two years ago, turned in his best effort for quite some time and there may be a little race to be found with him in this grade in coming weeks, even though his form is not progressive.
