Ask The Gatherer prominent, ridden 7th, urged ahead last, stayed on
Sir Pandy ran in snatches, outpaced after 6th, rallied 3 out, went 2nd after last and kept on well
Barren Lands chased leaders, ridden to lead after 3 out, headed last, no extra
Backscratcher led, 10 lengths clear 4th, headed after 3 out, 4th and fading when rider wobbled next
Boyastara midfield early, lost touch quickly after 5th, plugged on again 3 out, no chance
Robbie Can Can behind and held up, effort 7th, disputing 4th when mistake 3 out, soon beaten
Ask The Umpire behind, brief headway before 6th, ridden and struggling after next
Salveo never striding out and immediately lost touch
Mialyssa 20 lengths last at 1st, never got going, tailed off
Isa´Af took keen hold, chased leaders, mistake 7th, disputing 4th and weakening when mistake next, tailed off
Dr Dream prominent, ridden before 6th, lost 2nd and driven and weakened tamely after next, pulled up 2 out
Grave Doubts behind, some headway 7th, ridden and beaten before next, pulled up 2 out
Sir Pandy is another horse who has had his problems in recent times and he has struggled to make any sort of impression since his return to action after a long absence. The fitting of first-time blinkers did the trick in bringing him back to something like his form of two seasons ago, but it remains to be seen whether he can now build on this modest promise.
