This claiming hurdle was nothing to get carried away about. INDIAN STAR has been kept busy by new connections and proved quite consistent. He deserved to get his head in front again after being runner-up on his last two tries, but this is his grade as he was just about the best of these on official hurdles ratings.
Perfect Storm has never won but was beaten a lot further by Indian Star last time. He is not getting any better at his age but might be up to taking a poor heat like this on the faster ground.
The front three were clear of Masterpoint who has stamina limitations.
Overlut, switching to hurdles and stepping down this grade, was very disappointing and looks a shadow of his former self.
