Benwell in rear, headway 7th, mistake next, went 2nd 3 out, led next, pecked last, stayed on
Lascar De Ferbet in rear, headway 7th, soon chasing leaders, went 2nd between last 2, 2 lengths down last, kept on same pace
Per Amore chased leaders, driven along 4th, lost place 6th, headway 2 out, stayed on to take 3rd last
Stroom Bank in rear, behind from 7th, headway 2 out, kept on to take 4th soon after last
Was I Right soon pushed along towards rear, headway 8th, kept on one pace from 3 out
Briscoe Place led, 15 lengths clear 7th, hit next, jumped left and hit next 2, headed 3 out, 3rd last, weakened quickly
Alisons Treasure headway 7th, soon chasing leaders, weakened after 3 out

Victory went to BENWELL, a lightly raced winning pointer, who chased the clear leader from the fourth-last and, though he went right and made a mistake at the final fence, ran on well.He stays further.
Lascar De Ferbet closed on the winner going down to the last, but his best efforts, under rules at least, were at around 2m and he couldn’t pull out any more after the last.
Briscoe Place went off a decent clip and was around 20 lengths clear at one point, but he tired in the final mile, began to make mistakes and in the end finished well beaten.
