Hall Of Flame towards rear, headway 9th, one pace from 3 out

Mistral De La Cour took keen hold, with leaders, led 6th to 3 out, weakened approaching next
Glen Thyne mid-division, went prominent 8th, weakened approaching 2 out
That´s Racing prominent, outpaced when hit 10th, soon lost place
Nabir in rear, hit 10th, soon behind
Persian Prince led to 6th, weakened rapidly 3 out, tailed off when pulled up before next
Best Accolade prominent, lost place 8th, behind from 3 out, tailed off when pulled up before next
Hollows Mist in rear, behind and driven 8th, soon behind, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Analyis of the race
Just a 0-95 handicap chase, but quite a competitive event for the grade with several coming into it in good form.
That included the winner SHULMIN, who won over 3m3f here two weeks earlier and defied both an 8lb rise and the drop back in trip. In fact, she travelled well and just prevailed in a driving finish. She’s certainly in good form, and though she’ll go up again, she should continue to give a good account.
This was a return to form by I’m Your Man, who travelled well just off the pace and had every chance, only to lose out in a driving finish. He has yet to win over fences, but his current mark is 20lb lower than his last successful one over hurdles and, as he is fully effective on fast ground, he should be winning soon.
El Dee, fitted with cheekpieces, improved on his first run over fences, and though well beaten, Hall Of Fame is beginning to get his act together and may find a small race.
