Analyis of the race

A fair handicap, won in pleasing style by ORANG OUTAN, who was making his first appearance for almost a year after suffering a shoulder injury while schooling at home.He had clearly been well prepared for this comeback outing and he produced a workmanlike display to put this race to bed from the second last after chasing the leading bunch. There is probably more to come from him.

Inch High ran a gusty race, after being in the front-rank throughout. He looks in good heart.

Desert Nova was well held in fourth.

Nelson Du Ronceray, back over hurdles, was well beaten.

Lambrini Legend dropped out in a matter of strides and was pulled-up as though something was amiss.
