She´s Our Lass held up, headway 3f out, ridden to lead well over 1f out, driven, headed and no extra inside final furlong
Lady Friend held up, headway over 2f out, soon ridden and stayed on inside final furlong, nearest finish
Valrhona tracked leaders, headway to lead well over 2f out, ridden, hung left and headed well over 1f out, weakened entering final furlong
Magic Echo led, ridden along 3f out, soon headed and weakened over 2f out
Fusili tracked leader, ridden along well over 3f out and soon weakened
Tinnarinka tracked leaders, ridden along 4f out and soon weakened
From the Michael Dods stable, which is in good form, she was produced to challenge entering the last and, under a strong drive, she got on top towards the finish.
She’s Our Lass, also making her seasonal debut, was produced on the outside to lead more than a furlong out, but she was unable to sustain her advantage to the line and the winner gradually wore her down.
Valrhona travelled smoothly through the race andjoined the leaders, looking to be full of running, but, when let down, she edged to her left and did not look to be moving that fluently. To her credit, she ran a sound race and is clearly not short on ability.
