The lightly-raced Chief Editor has speed to burn. He travelled strongly through this race and was produced to win, but he hung away to right once in front and was worn down by the winner well inside the last. He remains one to keep on the right side.
Green Park shaped well, keeping on strongly inside the last. He looks to be coming to hand.
Bond City made a more than satisfactory reappearance, as did old-timer Fantasy Believer, who normally takes a race or two to bring him to a peak.
Came Back, who has been in unbeatable form on the all-weather, came up short on this return to turf in tougher company than he’s been tackling.
