Regal Parade ran a solid race in defeat to underline his well-being. Life will get tougher for him in the future as he is due to go up 6lb from today.
Cha Cha Cha, who was stepping up in trip, had every chance, but she failed to see off her race as well as the first two. A shorter trip may suit her better.
Bajan Pride, who was all the rage in the market, was settled behind the leaders, but he flattened out when brought under pressure and the writing was on the wall for him from well over a furlong out.
