Court Of Appeal tracked leader, headway to lead over 3f out and soon ridden, driven and hung right over 1f out, kept on gamely
Truly Fruitful tracked leaders going well, smooth headway to join leading pair 3f out, challenged over 2f out and soon ridden, every chance until driven inside final furlong and no extra towards finish
Friends Hope held up in touch, smooth headway on inner 4f out, closing on leading pair when not clear run on inner over 1f out, switched left and ridden entering final furlong, no impression towards finish
Perez led, ridden along 4f out, headed 3f out, soon driven and gradually weakened
Lucayan Dancer held up in rear, headway 3f out, soon ridden and no impression final 2f
Trance midfield, ridden along 4f out, driven and plugged on same pace final 2f
Malguru chased leaders, ridden along over 4f out, driven over 3f out and gradually weakened
Donna´s Double towards rear, some headway 3f out, soon ridden never a factor
Karaburan always in rear
Vie A Deux always in rear
Fardi always towards rear
Roman History always towards rear
Time Dancer chased leaders on inner, ridden along over 5f out and soon weakened
Truly Fruitful benefited from this step up in trip and went down fighting in second. He should be able to win something similar.
Friends Hope, stepping up, looked poised to go and win her race approaching the final two furlongs, but he did not pick-up immediately and the gap on the rails in front of him soon closed. Switched around the first two, she could only stay on at the same speed. She is engaged again at Folkestone tomorrow.
Lucayan Dancer, back on turf, ran below form. Trance never got in a blow over a trip which would be a minimum for him these days.
