Just a low-grade staying handicap, but GRIZEBECK came here as the horse in form and he duly followed-up his recent Catterick success under a 6lb penalty. Although he showed great battling qualities, he did not look quite so comfortable going this wayround as he did when racing left-handed at Catterick.

Danzatrice, making her seasonal debut, ran a sound race over this longer trip. She should pay her way in similar races this season.

Easibet Dot Net, fit from the all-weather, ran respectably on ground which, after some heavy showers, may have not been ideal for him.

The remainder, including Dance Sauvage, were well held.
