Greystoke Prince made all, driven along 2f out, forged clear final furlong, readily
Thomas Malory held up towards rear, headway to track leading group of five 3f out, quickened to chase winner inside final 2f but always well held
Easy Wonder chased leaders, ridden 3f out, chased winner over 2f out but no impression, stayed on same pace and dropped to 3rd inside final quarter mile
Maddy soon chased along, ridden to chase leaders 3f out, one pace final 2f
Never Sold Out chased leaders, ridden 3f out, weakened inside final 2f
Bahia Palace soon pushed along, always in rear
Little Toto chased leaders, ridden over 3f out, weakened from 2f out
The winner ideally wants a bit further so Adam Kirby was keen to ensure his stamina was brought into play and he’s a lightly raced three-year-old going the right way.
Thomas Malory isn’t the most consistent, but he ran well in defeat, looking a big threat over a furlong out but not having enough in reserves to trouble the winner. He’ll appreciate the drop back to 6f.
