None need following more than the giant filly ADA RIVER, who has a bright future. Green and raw in the early stages she began to make steady headway turning for home before picking up in really strong fashion to mow down Dubai Power close home and win going away. A full-sister to Listed winner Don’t Dili Dali, her trainer is now eyeing black type for her, he feels she’ll get ten furlongs, and she is expected to come on a great deal for this. She’s quite an exciting prospect and she’ll be seen to even better effect on a more galloping track.
Dubai Power, who has a Guineas and Oaks entry, set the standard on her third in a Salisbury Listed contest and her trainer has already said that he thinks she’s Group 3 class at least. She looked the likely winner when bursting through to go a couple of lengths upapproaching the final furlong and it may well be that she’s bumped into something well above average here.
There was a little gap back to Queen’s Speech, but having been outpaced she stayed on in eyecatching fashion through the final furlong and she looks sure to come on a good deal for this experience.
Spiritofthestormis more exposed and she's rated 70 but she ran some decent races last year and there will doubtless be a race for her at some stage.
