Role On tracked leaders, effort on inner and hampered approaching 2 out, switched left, went 3rd last, kept on same pace

Silver Seeker prominent, erffort and chasing leaders 3 out, kept on one pace from next

Mister Wiseman chased leaders, weakened approaching 2 out

Michaels Dream chased leaders, led after 5th, headed 7th, lost place next

Moyne Pleasure in rear, hit 5th, kept on approaching 2 out, never a factor

Ockley Flyer held up in rear, headway 5th, lost place 7th

Bushido towards rear, behind from 6th

Wicked Nice Fella led until after 5th, lost place 3 out

Devil´s Disguise in rear-division, behind from 7th

Finlay´s Footsteps towards rear, behind from 6th

Saint Godegrand in rear, behind from 6th

Nobel Bleu De Kerpaul chased leader, driven along 5th, lost place next, tailed off 2 out

This was competitive enough at its level, but the first four came well clear of the rest and KINGS ROCK, now in good heart following "a bit of an injury", saw out this trip well and there ought to be other similar staying handicaps within his compass.

The trip suited Euro Import and having run well last time over a 5f shorter trip on softer ground, his connections seem to have several options now. He was well clear of the third.

Silver Seeker was close enough on the home turn and though the first two went away he was another keeping on and only just beaten for third had the fifth horse 24 lengths adrift. It was not a bad effort after being raised 9lb for his win last time.
