Analyis of the race

There was a long way back to the third in this ordinary handicap chase but it would be folly to get too carried away wit the bare form. MANGO CATCHER had shown enough at Kempton last time to merit plenty of consideration in this event and he managed to get his head in front. He had won three times in Ireland and this was only his second outing in this country and there might be a bit more to come in similar grade.

Kova Hall has not built on a couple of wins last year.
