Dusty Dane prominent, lost place after 5th, rallied approaching 6th, hard ridden and weakened approaching 2 out
Sandymac prominent until ridden and weakened after 3 out
Hidden Weapon behind, jumped slowly 1st, never near leaders
Ede´s held up in mid-division, headway when mistake 3 out, soon weakened
Mungo Jerry held up and behind, some headway approaching 7th, ridden and weakened approaching 3 out
Caliban led until after 6th, weakened approaching 3 out
Kinetic Power prominent until weakened approaching 6th
Great Tsar held up in touch, joined leaders after 5th, led after 6th to 3 out, soon weakened
Sashenka prominent, hit 5th, soon weakened, eased approaching 3 out, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Heavenly Pleasure always in rear, lost touch 6th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Double Header ran his bestrace for a while and maybe this faster surface helped. He is on a winnable mark at present and there might be a poor contest in him.
Dusty Dane boasts just one win in 20 starts, while Ede’s was chasing a five-timer, but the ground drying out and a much higher mark did not seem to help as he never really got competitive. He is due to go up another 6lb from the weekend so things really do get a lot harder now.
