Coach Lane raced in 3rd place until chased clear leader 7th, closed before 10th, led on bit before next, still cruising when left well clear last
Azulejo chased clear leader until 7th, soon ridden and well behind, left poor 2nd last
Brave Villa led, clear after 1st, ridden and headed before 3 out, 2 lengths down and battling on but looked held when fell last
Oiseau De Nuit took keen hold, held up in last when blundered badly and unseated rider 2nd
Brave Villa had set the pace and had looked well held when passed by the winner but he was beginning to fight back when falling but whether he would have got to the winner is questionable.
