Iroquois Warrior ran without declared tongue strap, raced wide, held up in touch, mistake and ridden 3 out, headway under pressure before next, chased winner before last, kept on under pressure but never pace to challenge winner

Chiaro always prominent, every chance after 3 out, outpaced before next, kept on under pressure but not pace to challenge winner

Giovanna held up in touch, headway to lead 3 out, headed before next, soon ridden, weakened next

Nougat De L´Isle led until headed 3 out, soon driven and lost place, rallied briefly before 2 out, well beaten when jumped left last

Lease Back took keen hold, held up in touch, headway to press leader 8th until next, soon ridden and outpaced

Harris Bay tracked leaders until lost place 8th, ridden and weakened before 2 out, tailed off last when pulled up last

Once again the jockeys seemed to have different views as to how the hurdles course was riding as they were all over the place but, in the end, this handicap hurdle went the way of another horse who raced towards the outside in the shape of PISTOL DESBOIS who followed up his Chepstow win.

He seems to have come to himself in recent weeks and looks to be on the upgrade. He obviously handles plenty of cut in the ground and it will be interesting to see if he handles better ground as well.

Chiaro simply wants better ground than these testing conditions.

Giovanna is another who wants faster ground but he has not won for a while.
