CLASSIC CLOVER looked a reformed character when winning in first-time blinkers last time over a bit shorter and the headgear seemed to work again as he was always going well and won virtually unchallenged. The handicapper is not going to be very kind and he would likely have more on his plate next time but if the blinkers work again there might be more improvement to come.
Kiltimoney ran his usual race in that he plugged on at the one pace.
Diamond Cutter has not won for three years and does not seem to be getting home these days at this sort of trip.
