Marodima led until 1st, chased leader after until left in lead 6th, unchallenged after, jumped left and low last 3 fences

Muhtenbar held up in 3rd place until left 2nd 6th, shaken up before 3 out, no impression, eased when beaten after last

Charming Oscar jumped deliberately, always last, left 3rd 6th, tailed off from 9th

Kirbys Glen led 1st until fell 6th

This novice chase told us nothing new about MARODIMA as he had little left to beat after Kirbys Glen came down when just in front down the far side. This left the winner with only the fences between him and another win and, although, he did not get very high at the last three fences he was never going to fall. He could go to the Cheltenham sales later this month with his trainer hoping he keeps him as he thinks a big novice chase at Punchestown a week later will suit him well.
