DESIDERIO earned compensation for just failing to make all at Lingfield on Monday, but it was hard work. Saving ground all the way, he battled back under strong urging and when he hit to the front, he dug his heels in. All credit to his rider who carried him home. He is not an easy ride and the form is not to be trusted.
Miss Bouggy Wouggy had every chance but looked one-paced inside the final furlong. This is perhaps as good as she is.
