Djalalabad held up, some headway over 2f out, soon ridden and weakened
Prince Egor, off the course for over a year, made a most encouraging return to action, staying on (while hanging left) strongly to suggest that he may benefit from a slightly longer trip this season.
Semi Detached also shaped with a lot more promise than when last seen on the sand and is well-treated on his turf form of 2005.
Top Jaro, second in a Musselburgh seller last time, was found out by this return to handicap class but is clearly in good heart and should be able to pick up a little race before long.
