Tathkaar sweating, tracked leaders, went 2nd on inner over 2f out, narrow lead over 1f out, hard ridden and just held on
Erlydors pulled hard early, soon led, narrowly headed over 1f out, driven and kept trying, just held
Ivory Silk started slowly, progress from rear 3f out, came wide in straight, shuffled along and stayed on to take 3rd inside final furlong
Nice Wee Girl very keen early, held up, closed on leaders 3f out, went 3rd over 1f out to inside final furlong, one pace
Plum Asset started very slowly, soon in touch in rear, came wide straight, progress 2f out, kept on same pace over 1f out
Passionforfashion started slowly, soon recovered into midfield, tried to close on leaders over 2f out, shaken up and faded final furlong
Moluccella held up in midfield, ridden over 2f out, soon lost touch with leaders
Pennyspider took keen hold, pressed leader to over 2f out, soon weakened, tailed off
Hold Fire soon last, struggling from halfway, tailed off
Good News Too always towards rear, weakened rapidly final 2f, tailed off
Erlydors was sent into a clear lead leaving the back straight, as thejockey wanted the field to go a bit faster. Gathered in up the home straight by the winner, she responded gamely to pressure and made Tathkaar pull out all the stops. She is a winner waiting to happen.
Ivory Silk really caught the eye for the future. Still looking a touch green when asked for maximum effort, she responded well to her jockey's urgings to keep on in good style. Her previous races have produced winners and she looks sure to find a race before too long.
Plum Asset fell out of the stalls and was never going to play a part in the finish after losing that ground. She did, however, keep on well under Seb Sanders and shaped nicely on her debut.
Passionforfashion, a 600,000 euro half-sister to Excusez Moi, did not run too badly on her debut, but did not get home as strongly as others. She has a bit of scope and can comeon for the race.
