Killer Class tracked leaders, headway 2f out, effoirt when not clear run over 1f out, ridden to lead inside final furlong, driven and hung badly left towards finish
Maahe in touch, headway on inner well over 1f out, driven and every chance inside final furlong, kept on
Captain Turbot close up, ridden to lead and edged right approaching last, soon driven and headed inside final furlong, held when badly hampered towards finish
Rightcar Hull soon ridden along and outpaced in rear, headway well over 1f out, stayed on well final furlong, hampered and switched towards finish
Kyzer Chief close up, led 2f out, soon ridden, hung left and headed approaching final furlong, soon driven and one pace
Mchepple chased leaders on outer, ridden along over 2f out and soon weakened
Golden Dane led, ridden along and headed 2f out, soon weakened
Maahe made a bright start to the season, keeping on well in the closing stages. She should win a race or two.
Captain Turbot ran a sound race, and, although he looked held when the winner took his ground, his rider did well to stay with him when he stumbled so badly after clipping heels near the line.
Kyzer Chief was not disgraced on his seasonal bow. He's the sort of horse to pop-up at a decent price in a little handicap this season as it's taken him this long to get the hang of what racing is all about.
Golden Dane ran fast, but also faded quickly.
