Forsyte Saga made all, ridden along 3f out, driven over 1f out, stayed on strongly inside final furlong
Kiribati King tracked leaders, headway to chase winner halfway, ridden along 3f out, driven 2f out, kept on well under pressure
Pepper´s Ghost towards rear, headway 4f out, soon ridden along, stayed on under pressure final 2f, nearest finish
Crimson Mitre chased winner, ridden along 3f out, driven 2f out and soon weakened
Sheer Fantastic chased leaders, ridden along 3f out, soon outpaced
Roundthetwist pulled hard, tracked leaders, stumbled after 2f, saddle slipped after 4f, remained prominent until weakened final 2f
Sabre Light always in rear, outpaced and behind final 4f
Kiribati King, making his seasonal debut and having his first run in a handicap, shaped well in second. This was his first try at this trip and he was not beaten for lack of stamina.
Pepper's Ghost was comfortably held, but ran respectably enough.
Sheer Fantastic was well held.
Roundthetwist received a great ride from Declan Cannon, who, having suffered a slipped saddle early on, then gave his mount plenty of assistance, despite sitting precariously, before the writing was on the wall in the last two furlongs.
