Swinbrook chased leaders, headway 2f out and soon ridden, driven inside final furlong and stayed on to lead last 75yds
Lethal chased leader, headway to lead 2f out, soon ridden, driven inside final furlong, headed and no extra last 75yds
Cerebus dwelt and soon ridden along in rear, headway over 2f out, kept on under pressure inside final furlong, nearest finish
Qadar in touch, ridden along well over 2f out and soon one pace
Makshoof chased leading pair, headway over 2f out, soon ridden and weakened well over 1f out
Count Cougar led, ridden along and headed 2f out, soon weakened
He had shaped well enough on his seasonal debut at Pontefract last week, and is clearly in good form.
Lethal has not won for more than a year but ran with a bit more promise here, going on 2f out until caught by the winner.
Cerebus missed the break but ran on to finish a creditable third and remains in good form.
Makshoof, who won first time out last season, travelled well to the straight but was soon beaten and may just have needed it.
Count Cougar also ran as though he needed it, as he dropped right out after being headed 2f out and will come on a good bit for this run.
