Benandonner close up, led afteer 2f, ridden 2f out, driven and edged right inside final furlong, held on well
Regal Parade tracked leaders, headway on outer over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, staying on when edged left inside final furlong, driven and kept on well towards finish
Party Boss led 2f, close up until ridden along 2f out, soon driven and one pace approaching final furlong
Rio Riva held up in rear, headway over 2f out, ridden and stayed on inside final furlong, nearest finish
Kabeer held up, good headway on outer 3f out, challenged 2f out and every chance until ridden and weakened entering final furlong
Red Cape chased leaders on inner, ridden along 3f out and gradually weakened
Silver Hotspur chased leaders, ridden along 3f out and soon weakened
Very Wise in touch, effort to chase leaders 3f out, soon ridden and weakened, behind and eased over 1f out
Going on after 2f, he made the rest of the running and found plenty for pressure to prevail in a driving finish.
He may be given a break now before returning for some of the good mile handicaps.
Regal Parade, behind the winner in the Spring Mile, was a close second, clear of the rest, and from a form point of view it wasa very respectable effort.
However, though he kept on, he was tending to hang in behind the winner and did not look totally straightforward.
Lincoln third Rio Riva was held up and could never get to the leaders. He was unproven on this surface, so it was not a bad effort, but he left the impression he is high enough in the weights now.
The disappointment was Very Wise, who trailed in tailed off.
