The winner, ROBUSTIAN, is rated 5lb lower on the all-weather than on turf and took full advantage.
Although he raced keenly early on, he quickened to go clear earlyin the straight and was never challenged.
This was his first run for his current yard and his first of the season and he has clearly come back in good heart.
First To Call was well beaten in third but may have needed the run, and though Kylkenny had the run of the race, he could not quicken in the straight and may need some help from the handicapper.
