My Shadow held up towards rear, ridden 3f out, strong run to lead final 100yds
Desiderio led, ridden and kept on final 2f, headed and not pace of winner final 100yds
Saafend Geezer patiently ridden from rear, promising headway entering straight, chance 1f out, not quicken inside final furlong
What´s For Tea chased leader until 2f out, kept on same pace
Ledgerwood in touch, driven to chase leaders over 1f out, no extra final furlong
Chanteuse De Rue chased leaders until weakened well over 1f out
Coloratura towards rear, headway to challenge over 1f out, weakened quickly final furlong
Elizabeth´s Quest dwelt, soon recovered and raced in 5th, ridden 3f out, soon weakened
Darley Star held up in 6th, ridden 3f out, weakened quickly 2f out
Desiderio looked like becoming another front-running winner before My Shadow swooped and he kept on well enough to hold the rest off. He was advantaged by enjoying an easy lead buthas progressed for a change of tactics.
What's For Tea has been in good form here in sellers and claimers this winter and she again ran a solid race but hinted at what the overall form was worth.
